GParos is located in the centre of
the Cycladic islands with some of the best
Greece beaches, and still, you will find
Paros property for sale at excellent prices.
The island has everything you could wish
for in a traditional Greek island, and you
could drive around it in about 1.5 hours.
The Cyclades are known as the quintessential
Greek islands with their stylish architecture,
fantastic weather and beautiful beaches.
Paros itself has many charming villages,
sandy beaches, |
and stunning views around almost
every corner. Parikia is the capital and is a
lovely town, which gets busy in the summer as
people hop from one ferry on to the other. Naoussa
is considered to be one of the prettiest villages
in the Cyclades with a lovely harbour front which
is just being extended. There are many other villages
such is Piso Livadi, with its sandy beach, quaint
harbour and tavernas all in close proximity.
Paros does also have an airport with frequent
flights to Athens, but no international flights
currently. There are many daily flights from Athens
to Paros which take 45 minutes, or you can even
take the scenic high speed hydrofoil which takes
about 2.5 hours. Almost all the boats stop at
the island, so it is perfectly located for trips
to the other Cycladic islands such as Santorini,
Mykonos, Ios, Naxos, Andros, Tinos, Kea and many
more.
